Brother, sister—think about how far simple, earth-grown truth has carried mankind. What changed in the past century or so?

The answer is pretty obvious, I won't rant on it here. But here's a hint. It's what you do or don't eat that defines life as you experience it.

At one point I was 100 pounds heavier than I am today, depressed and disconnected. What I'm about to change changed all that without starvation or fad supplements.

These are the same rules that took me from overweight school teacher → MMA fighter/coach → injury recovery → professional writer, performer, and creator living lean and dangerous at 38+ going on 40. I’ve never found a cleaner, more effective framework for understanding what to eat, when to eat, and how to eat your way to your body goals.


1. Eat earth-grown nutrients in great variety, consistently. A 4-year-old should recognize every ingredient on the label. Real food. Rotate the supergroups. Blueberries, avocado, grass-fed meats, farm eggs, tallow—the stuff that grows from soil and sun.


2. Eat every 2 to 4 hours based on activity level. Keep the fire steady. No crashes, no desperate hunger. Fuel the mission.


3. Eat until satisfied, not until full. You should be able to move—light to medium activity—right after a meal. Leave the table ready to roll, not ready for a nap.


4. Stay hydrated. Simple. Non-negotiable. Water is life and performance.


5. Stay accountable. Track it. Own it. No excuses. This is where most diets die.


6. Your diet doesn’t stop at food. Curate the information you consume. Feed your mind the same way—high-quality inputs only. Pull the weeds of fear-based media from your mind.


These principles powered my own 100+ pound transformation and the shared journey with Amanda where we dropped over 400 lbs together naturally and completely changed our lives from the ground up.
